Adeline (Lala) Tafoya was surrounded by her loving family as she passed through this life to be with our Lord. She has left a legacy of love and strong family ties. Her kindness and joyful spirit has touched so many lives. Lala was born in Pittsburg to Antonio and Eusebia Murguia. She graduated from Pittsburg High School, and met her future husband Pete and they raised a beautiful family together.
She worked at PG&E for 20 years and retired in 1991. Lala was former president of Golden Hills Women's Ministry and a long time member and mentor at Edgewater Church in Pittsburg.

Tafoya of 60 years: sons Pete (Joanie), Dino (Alice), Gene (Marylou) and Rick (Patricia) Tafoya. Daughters Rosetta (Richard) McKay and Diane (Eddy) Rodrigues, 19 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Amador and Joe Murguia.
Lala also left many friends and extended family. She was a shining example of God's Love. We are thankful and blessed to have called her Wife, Mom, Grandma, Auntie and Friend.
Friends and family are invited for vigil services Thursday April 17, 2014 from 600pm. Funeral service Friday April 18, 2014 at 10:00am both days at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial will followed Oakview Memorial Park, Antioch.
