The party got jumping on October 9, 2018 when our beloved father, Albert Peter Sandoval Aka "Beto" went struttin' through the pearly gates of heaven. Born in Stockton, California on October 7, 1947, he was the son of Pauline Velasquez and Joe Sandoval.  He lived most of his life in Pittsburg, California.

Beto loved to cook (mostly Asian food), hats were his thing, his hair always dyed, loved oldies, East side story Vol.1-12 and was always down to have a good time. He could often be found fishing at his favorite spot, Antioch Marina and throughout the Delta River. He was always the life of the party, and was known to "rock the town" wherever he went.  He had a huge sense of humor always cracking jokes non-stop, his laugh was contagious and will never be forgotten. He was a big man of short stature with a solid heart of gold. He loved all people, took care of everyone and gave what he had in his pocket.  On the streets he wasn't just Beto, he was "dad" or "tio". He influenced his wisdom to the young and the lost. He was loved by many because of his love and generosity. He will be missed immensely.

Left behind to remember Beto are his 7 children, Veronica Sandoval, Albert "Beto" Sandoval, Anastasia Sandoval-Tabarez, Jessica Rodriguez, Samuel Sandoval, Andrea Sandoval, and Mike Castro; 33 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by siblings Rosie, Richard, Cruz, Joe, Ernest, Veto, and Lil Mary. He is preceded in death by siblings Johnny, Josephine, Mary, Tommy, Benny, twins Lorenzo and Lorenza.  He came from a family of 14 siblings in total.
