Alfredo "Medo" was born January 16, 1965 to Zenaida & Antonio Mercado, in the Philippines and was a resident of Contra Costa For over 30 years. He was the eldest of 2 brothers. Medo was a Loyal employee & supervisor at Asbury Graphite Inc. of California for over 7 years, & was well liked & respected. He loved his job & fellow employees & considered them a second family. Medo is survived by his Father, Tony Mercado. His brother Sonny Mercado, his niece Mayleen Mercado (daughter of Sonny). His Children, Antonio "Tone," Kenneth, James "JayJay," CatLeya "Kaytee," Rachelle, Janelle, & Jamie. & his grandchildren Tatyana & "KK" Kenneth JR (children of Kenneth & Melisa), Kristoffer & "IV" Wilson IV (children of CatLeya & Wilson), "Bellz" Isabella (daughter of Rachelle & "Rome" Romeo), Amaya & Alijah (children of Janelle & "P" Fetuao). And a host of many extended family members & friends. Medo will always be remembered for always having a huge smile on his face, no matter what life threw his way & an even bigger heart, that was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be deeply missed & his memories will be greatly cherished by all those who loved him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11:00am at Our Lady Queen of the World Church in Bay Point. Committal services following at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Concord. *attire preferences though not mandatory: San Francisco 49ers sports attire*
