Ameeya was called home to be with God on Thursday September 26, 2013 at the Children's Hospital in Oakland, CA.
Born on December 21, 2010, Ameeya lived a short but beautiful life for 2 years and 9 months in Pittsburg. Survived by her Parents: Thomas McDonald Jr. and Danee Lumbre Siblings: Rosenda Pierson, Marlin Pierson III, Thomas McDonald III and Angelo McDonald, Grandparents: Thomas McDonald Sr., Rudy and Maria Simarro and George Lumbre Sr. God Parents: George Lumbre Jr. and Sabrina Contreras and Aunts: Cyndi Dosen, Leticia Hook and Michelle Higgins. Ameeya was preceded in death by her grandmother Rosie Romero.
Our baby was smart, caring, loving, happy and beautiful. She enjoyed singing and dancing, riding her bike, watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einsteins, swimming as well as going to the park with her family.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 10:00am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch. All though Ameeya was taken from us too soon, we will remember and celebrate her life everyday that we live.
