Amelia Madrid Ortiz passed away peacefully at ManorCare -Tice Valley where she lived for the last 2 years. She suffered from Alzheimer's and was well loved and cared for by the staff. Amelia was the last of the Madrid siblings.

Amelia and her husband managed 2 Board and Care homes for 15 years. She enjoyed spending quality time with her large family. Amelia was a devoted Jehovah Witness and attended the Bay Point congregation for many years.

Amelia is survived by her daughter's: Pauline Ortiz, Mercy Garner and Antonia Ortiz all of Bay Point, Mary Ann Lopez of Antioch. Also 17 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 1 pending Great Great Grandchild. Amelia will always be loved and missed by her family and all who new her. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe C Ortiz of 38 years. Her eldest daughter Frances O. Garcia and her eldest Great Grandson Joey R Valdez.
