Obituary

Andrea Milani, 81, passed away on June 22, 2022, after a long battle with Parkinson disease. Andrea was born on February 14, 1941, to Anthony (Neno) and Dorothea Davi in San Francisco, Ca. Dorothea unfortunately passed away after giving birth and her incredible aunt Mayme Davi stepped in and raised her as her own. She would later legally adopt her. After Andrea graduated from Pittsburg High in 1958, she studied Business at Holy Names College and went to work for Dow Chemical and then became a medical assistant.

Andrea married Joe Milani in 1961 and they had two children: Dottie and Joey. She was incredible pianist and had played since she was 3 years old. She played the organ for many years at the 5:30pm mass at Church of the Good Shepherd and played for many weddings.

Andrea and Joe loved spending time with their grandchildren, Chas, Andrew and Natalie. They were their biggest fans, attending all their events from sports to musicals and recitals. When they weren't with their grandchildren, they were traveling up and down the coast enjoying their love of the ocean.

Andrea loved her many friends as well and enjoyed spending time with them especially the monthly lunches with the girls. She was also a huge animal lover and volunteered at ARF for a longtime.

Andrea is survived by her husband Joe, daughter Dottie and husband Chuck, grandchildren: Chas (Monique), Andrew (Debra) and Natalie (Jason) and her great grandchildren: Sienna and Arlo. She was preceded in death by her parents Dorothea Davi, Anthony (Neno) Davi, Mayme Davi and her beloved son Joey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm with a rosary and vigil service beginning at 4:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. A private burial will be held.
