Angel Medina lived life on his own terms—fearlessly, passionately, and with a fire that refused to be dimmed. He never backed down, never let negativity win, and never wasted a single day. His legacy isn't just in the past; it lives on, carried forward by the ones who mattered most: his devoted wife and best friend, Sara; his beloved children—Elaina, Emery, Makenzie (his "Baby Sasquatch"), Darien,Erik, Anthony, Issac, and Diana; his mother, Diana; his stepmother, Maria; his stepfather, Michael; and his siblings—Juan Jr., Veronica, Erik, Fabian, Vanessa, Jesse and Michelle. His presence will be forever felt, his stories forever told, and his love forever remembered.

Born in Paradise, CA, on September 15, 1978, to Johnny Medina and Diana Leonard, Angel grew up between Las Vegas, NV, and Oroville, CA. Whether charming his teachers, excelling in sports, or sneaking his dad's Impala out for joyrides, he made every moment count. He dominated the baseball diamond as a shortstop, took down opponents on the wrestling mat, and made sure he left an impression—one way or another.

Angel never did anything halfway. He poured his soul into everything—from working as a carpenter for over a decade to chasing his dream of owning a restaurant. He put in the work, stepping into the kitchen as a chef in Las Vegas casinos, proving that nothing was out of reach.

Then, fifteen years ago, everything changed. He met Sara, and what started as friendship became an unbreakable bond. She wasn't just his partner—she was his ride-or-die, the one person who could match his energy, challenge his mind, and love him through it all. But the true game-changers? His daughters, Elaina, 4 and Emery, 2 and his stepdaughter Makenzie. She wasn't just a stepchild to him—she was his Baby Sasquatch, They gave him a second chance, a new purpose. He was their hero, their protector, their rock.

On February 23, 2025, Angel took his last breath after a battle fought with every ounce of strength he had. His younger brother Fabian never left his side, proving that loyalty and love run deep in their blood.

A lifelong baseball fanatic and collector of sports memorabilia, Angel didn't just love the game—he was the game. His wit was as sharp as his swing, and his ability to "talk a lot of shit" made him the life of any gathering. But underneath it all, he was a man of wisdom, kindness, and unwavering integrity. His philosophy was simple: "If you keep doing good and blessing those around you, you won't have to worry."

And now, his spirit lives on. Not just in memories, but in every laugh, every joke, every lesson he passed down. He'll survive in Sara's strength, in his children's determination, in his family's love, and in the countless lives he touched.

Angel was preceded in death by his father, Johnny, and his brother-in-law Michael Fischer, whom he held close to his heart. He will survive though his wife, children, mother, stepmother, stepfather, siblings, and in-laws—Vincent and Tammy Fischer, and Robert and Francesca Watson—who will carry his legacy forward.
