Angela Rose Lucido, known to most of her family as Nini, passed away surrounded by her family as a result of a sudden illness. Nini was born in Pittsburg, CA to Horace and Zelma Lucido. Nini went to Pittsburg Schools and graduated from Pittsburg High in 1965. Nini worked at the family business with her father until his death in 1974. Nini held many jobs since then. For the past 20yrs she was employed with Contra Costa County as a home healthcare provider. Nini was a rock to her family, she took care of all of us in so many ways. She was a mother, sister, daughter, a best friend, a nurse but most of all a mentor. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Nini was preceded in death by her father, Horace Lucido in 1974 and her mother Zelma Lucido in 1996. She is survived by her brothers Edward and Ronald Lucido, Nephews Raymond, Gabriel and Dominic Lucido her nieces Carolina Ambriz and Angel Lucido as well as many other cousins, nephews and nieces who's lives will never be the same without her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 6:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
