Ann was the daughter of Mercurio Orlando and Rapheal Mascarello. She was born and raised in Pittsburg, CA. and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1951. Ann had two brothers: Gaetano Orlando(deceased), and Joseph Orlando(deceased), and one sister; Rosalie Orlando Marino. She married Vincent S DeAnnunzio on Nov. 15, 1953. They raised two sons; Vincent A (Janet), and Timothy S DeAnnunzio. Ann was the loving Nana to two granddaughters: Angela Marin (Steven), and Beverly De Annunzio. She adored her three great grandchildren: Rick, Angelo, and Giada. The Orlando's are one of the great pioneer commercial fishing families to settle in Pittsburg CA. Ann held numerous jobs. As a teenager, she worked at the California Theatre. She worked as a food prep for The Mecca. She worked for Cordis Dow making artificial kidneys for dialysis machines. She worked at a daycare center for a local church. But her most rewarding job was being a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie and Nana. Ann loved fishing and listening to the Gaylords. She was excited to see the Gaylords in person at the Italian Festival in Reno. Ann is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Ann was 90 years old at the time of her passing on April 25, 2023.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 10:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
The funeral services will be private per her request.
