Ann C. Derkowski passed away surrounded by her loving family. She fought a long and hard struggle with a serious lung disease. She was a wonderful wife and mother always putting her family first. After graduating from high school she married Leonard J. Derkowski. She worked over 20 years at Bell Fibre Co. in Chicago and 10 years at Macy's in Ca. Ann moved to Pittsburg, Ca in 1998 to live with her daughter Deborah and son-in-law Craig.
Ann is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leonard, son Leonard Derkowski Jr. (Susan) of Chico, Texas, daughters Deborah (Craig) Wagner and Susan (Stephen) Carskaddon both of Pittsburg. Her brother James (Dolores) Speller of Springfield, IL, grandson Anthony Ciullo and great grandson Nikolai Ciullo of Pittsburg.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 3:00pm at Church of the Good Shepherd.
