Obituary

Antonio Mendoza, passed away peacefully at home on April 16, 2023 in Pittsburg, California surrounded by his loving family. He was 71 years old.

Antonio is survived by his five children Mark Lester Mendoza, Marianne Chris Mendoza,Kristoffer Ryan Mendoza, Dino Laurentti Mendoza, Mark Anthony Mendoza and his long time life partner Leticia Parades. Forever remembered by his brother Nestor Mendoza and sister-in law Christine Mendoza.

Antonio was also loved and remembered by Carmelita Mendoza, Frances Reister, Edwin Reyes, Liezell Mendoza, Michell Lee Ileto, and all his grandchildren Ethan, Izak, Nicole, Bianca, Izzy, Raia, Mikaela, Mischa, Jayden , Marley Aria, Kylie Amaris, Dylan Cyrus and Devin Celsior.


Antonio was born in the Philippines on July 7, 1951.  He came from well educated and respected family. He graduated with Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology (Clinical Lab Scientist) from University of Santo Tomas, Manila. Antonio and his family migrated to United States in 1998 and became a US citizen in 2003. He enjoyed a full time career in the medical field. Antonio had an excellent work ethics and worked for John Muir for over 10 years as a Phlebotomist.

Antonio lived a simple life and enjoyed his last few years of his life as a retired individual in his hometown of Valenzuela City, Philippines. He spent quality time with family and was beloved by his grandchildren. Antonio was an excellent provider to his family. He always made sure everyone was taken care of. He was a great and loving father to all his children and was always around to fulfill his duties as a father and never asked for any validation. Antonio was a very humble man. A very good son who took care of his ailing mother on her last days here on earth. He was a great friend to many and beloved by his family, neighbors and coworkers.


He will always be remembered by his nickname "Boy".
