Arturo "Tudy" Perez passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the age of 72 after a short bout with cancer. Arturo "Tudy", was born on May 14 th , 1948 in El Paso, TX. Tudy was a resident of Antioch but grew up and attended school in Pittsburg, CA from elementary though High School, graduating in 1966. As a Pittsburg High School Pirate, he was named Co-Captain of the 1966 Championship Football Team. Later he was honored to be inducted into the Pittsburg High School Hall of Fame twice. He also attended Oregon Technical Institute where he met his wife Linda of 52 years. Tudy was a member of the IBEW Local 302 where he worked for 35 years as an electrician on many Bay Area projects, including what is now known as Oracle Park.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing and wood working but his great loves were being with his grandchildren and Football.
Tudy is survived by his mother, Celestine Ramirez, his wife Linda and daughters, Tana Kitamura (Derek) and Leah MacKay. He deeply loved his seven grandchildren, Vincent Belus, Dominic Belus, Danielle Belus, Ava MacKay, Tavia Kitamura, Sophi MacKay and Jacob Kitamura. He will be missed by his brothers, Roger Perez (Rosie), Sal Ramirez (Kim), Dan Ramirez and his sister Elsa Ramirez. He will also be missed by his three nephews and one niece plus several great nieces and nephews.
A memorial for Tudy will be announced at a later date.
