Barbara S. Dumlao, aged 73 years, passed away on March 25th surrounded by loving family. She was the wife of Romeo S Dumlao. They shared 55 years of marriage and 60 years of partnership together. Born in Portsmouth, West Virginia, Barbara was the daughter of Betty Burgess and Earl Carswell. She attended and graduated Pittsburg High School. She was employed at Pacific Bell phone company. She enjoyed traveling anywhere and everywhere, Saint Thomas and Alaska were some of her favorite places to visit. Barbara loved all things Disney. She loved being a Grammy and spoiling her two grandchildren, especially with sushi dates. She loved all things sparkly and loved to make everything around her beautiful. She will be remembered for her thoughtful and generous nature, always taking care of everyone in her family and friend circle. She is survived by her husband Romeo S. Dumlao, daughter Stephanie Dumlao, son Bruce Dumlao, daughter In Law Jenna Dumlao, grandchildren Pharaoh and Mazzy Dumlao, sister Carol and brother Randy, and beloved grandoggie, Princess. She was predeceased by her son James Antonio Dumlao. The funeral service/memorial and service/graveside will be held on Friday, May 17th, 2024 at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel with interment at Antioch cemetery. The viewing/memorial will be held from 11:00am-12:00pm and cemetery service at 1:00pm. Flowers may be sent.
