Barbara Haviland Lamm passed away on March 2, 2015 in Oakland. Beloved daughter of CDR Willis Bradley Haviland (USN) and Lucile S. Haviland. Born May 28, 1920, she was a graduate of Stanford University. She served as a civilian clerk for US Army in Berlin during the Allied occupation followed by a long career as an educator, historian and author.
Barbara is survived by a son, a granddaughter and two great-grandsons. Private services will be held. Donations can be made to the Contra Costa Crisis Center, 307 Lennon Ln, Walnut Creek, CA 94598.
