Beatrice was born on June 10, 1918 in Pittsburg. She attended Pittsburg High School and graduated in 1936. She married Antonino (Nino) Cacciaroni in 1940 and had two children: David (Judy) of Pollock Pines and Anita Cleveland (Wayne) of San Leandro. Her most important role in life was being a wife and mother. She and Nino owned New Nino's Pizza in Oakland and Dino's Pizza in San Lorenzo where Beatrice was always the supportive and loving wife of Nino. Her last residence was in San Leandro, where she resided for 37 years before her death. She and Nino were the proud grandparents of four grandchildren: Dynell of Cameron Park, Monica (Dave) of San Jose, Dean (Angie) of Anthem, AZ and Dawn (Paul) of Seattle. Nino and Beatrice were also proud great-grandparents of 14: Gage, Noah, Kaley, Mia, Scott, Michael, Melissa, Nico, Marco, Lauren, Alise, Anthony, Nicholas and Chloe. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents Antonino and Cosima (Cosma) Battaglia, brothers Rocco (Roxy), Calogeroe (Claude), and Bartolo (Bart); sisters Grace and Rose.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Chapel blessing Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 11:00am also at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
