Benjamin Martinez, peacefully passed away in his sleep on March 25, 2018 at the age of 91. A U.S. Army veteran, Benny worked 30 years for US Steel as a wire inspector. He was an Assistant at LMC for the refrigeration and small appliance classes.

Benny is survived by his two children Richard Martinez (Cheryl) and Pamela Findley, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He is also survived by his three brothers: Louis and Fred, and Jess Martinez and one sister Eva Placencia. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Beatrice Martinez, parents Jesus and Maria, and brother Ralph Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 6:30pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
