Benny Bruno passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Oct. 10th. He is beloved by his family and his many friends. Benny was born in Isola Delle Femmine, Italy and came to Pittsburg, in 1964. He resided in Antioch, for 48 years where he worked as a steel-worker at US Steel/US Posco for 30 years. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, singing, his family and friends, reading his Bible and praising The Lord.
Benny is survived by his loving and devoted children; Roseann Bruno and Salvatore Bruno, grandchildren; Michael Rohwer, Melissa Rohwer, Lauren Bruno, Hayley Bruno and Nicholas Bruno, brothers; Salvatore Bruno, Giuseppe Bruno, Orazio Bruno and sister Rosa De Santis as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Kathy Bruno in 2006.
Friends and family who loved Benny are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial at The Wedgewood Banquet Center (old Zandanellas), 2222 Golf Club Rd, Pittsburg, on Saturday Oct. 26, 2013 from 11:30 am to 3 pm.
