Betty Jean Mayjoffo Nunes, 86, passed away on January 15, 2022. She was a life long resident of Pittsburg, CA - where she met and married the love of her life, Robert Nunes Sr (of 44 years). After graduating Pittsburg High School in 1953, she worked in finance for many years. Later she decided to stay home and devote her time to her family.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory to her loving children; Robert, Barbara and Michael. grandchildren; Justin, Jessica, Sarah, Destinee, and Robert. Great grandchildren; Maliyah, Madyn, and Naleya, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Salvatore & Eleanor Mayjoffo, husband; Robert Nunes, brothers; Salvatore, John, Tony, Joe, Peter Mayjoffo and sisters; Anne, Manoguerra, Dorothy Alioto, and Esther Jimno.

Betty touched many lives with her genuine love and caring ways. She was a wonderful Mother, Nana, sister and friend.

A committal service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 11:30am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
