Our mother was born July 17, 1931, to Charles and Vada Williamson in Pittsburg, Ca, where she lived her entire life. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side, due to complications of Alzheimer's.
Mom graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1949 and married the love of her life, Calvin Buffo in 1950. One week before dad left for Korea, Cheryl was born and upon dads return, Calvin Jr., and Jeffrey joined the family. As her children reached their teenage years, Traci and Tami were born to make us a family of seven.
Mom was a room mother for all of our grade school years and in 1966, she took a part time job with Pittsburg schools as a teacher's aide which lasted twenty seven years.
Mom was all about family. Her family was her life. She was always there for us and our family times together were her happiest.
Mom was preceded in death by her parents, sister Barbara Aliotti, and her youngest child Tamra Lynn. She leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Calvin Sr., her children Cheryl Asin (Larry), Calvin Jr., (Sharon), Jeffrey (Marge) and Traci Nogueda (Rick), six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Private burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Our mother will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
