Bill passed away after a long illness on Monday, April 22, 2013; at the age of 80. Born to William and Ruth Matlock in Cushing, OK. He moved to CA at a young age. Bill retired from Berkely Farms after 41 years. He loved playing golf with his friends in Bethel Island, was 49er fan through thick and thin for years. Watching the Giants and yelling came in next.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Beverly and his children: Randy, Denise and Kevin. He was Dawdy to his grandchildren: Kindra, Christy, Brad, Marianne, Blain, Kevin Jr., and Steven. His great grandchildren: Brittany, Jeffrey, Bryce, Joshua, Jasmyn, Brandon, Brenden, James, Jaynlin and Kayli. His brother Ernie Matlock of Chico, and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Norma Foster. He will be missed.
Funeral services Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 12:30pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial following at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Concord.
