Billy Jack Moore, age 46, of Antioch, California, passed away on March 15, 2026, after a recent illness.  Billy was born and raised in Antioch, California.  He is survived by his wife Ashley Moore, son Zachary Moore, daughter Mia Moore, father Craig Moore and brother K.C. Moore.    He was preceded in death by his mother Kathy Moore.

Billy Moore was a dedicated police officer for 17 years, faithfully serving the community of Oakland, California.  Prior to that, he worked for the California Department of Corrections.  Billy loved his career in law enforcement and had earned the trust of his colleagues with his composure and respect in countless challenging situations.

Beyond his professional life, Billy loved to spend quality time with his family. He spent most of his time in his backyard, which was personalized to his interests: cooking and gardening. He loved cheering on the Dodgers and the Raiders in his spare time. A memorial service to honor Billy's life will be held on April 8, 2026, at 10:30 am at the 3 Crosses Church in Castro Valley.
