Bruce Wood Humpherys' Obituary
Bruce Wood Humpherys was born April 20, 1934 to Alfred Humpherys and Ivie Mae Wood in Liberty, Idaho. He was the oldest of 4 children. He served as an LDS missionary in the Northern States Mission. He also honorably served in the US Army.
He married Gay Marie Robinson in 1959. Together they had one child, Sheri. They were later divorced. Bruce was then married and sealed in the Manti Utah Temple on March 6, 1971 to Hazel Christensen. They are the parents of 4 children, Mark, Janette, Daniel and Laura. He Lived the majority of his adult life in Northern California.
Bruce is survived by his children, Sheri (Shaun) Houston, Mark (Stephanie), Janette, Daniel and Laura (Scott) Mills. He is also survived by his wife, Hazel and several grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and his brother Glen (Marilyn). He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Myrna and his sister Beverly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10:00am with a service at 11:00am the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 2201 Golf Club Rd, Pittsburg, CA 94565.
