Carl J. Colombo passed away on Monday at the age of 90. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.
Carl was born in Pittsburg, where he lived most of his life. He was an exceptional athlete in high school, and was inducted into the Pittsburg High School Football Hall of Fame. Later in life he became an avid golfer. He loved watching sports and spending time with his family.
Carl was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen, and his stepson, Frank (Pooch) Lombardo. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Ken Lowy; grandchildren Krista Heredia, Joey Lombardo, Desiree Valles, and Sharay Lombardo along with nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Paul Colombo, and sister, Josephine Aiello.
Friends and family are invited to funeral services on Friday, November 1st 11:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
