With heavy hearts, the Ostertag family regrets to announce the passing of our beloved Carol Ostertag. She passed away Friday the 9 ^th after a short battle with cancer. Carol was known for her great smile, and devotion to all her family and friends. She touched so many people with her kindness and loving spirit.

Carol was born in San Francisco to John and Grace Sacco along with her brother George Sacco, sister Jackie West and brother Eddie Sacco. The family moved to Pittsburg when she was a young child, and this is where she met her "High School Sweetheart" Kenneth Ostertag at Pittsburg High School. Ken and Carol were enjoying their retirement in Discovery Bay by traveling and spending time with friends and family. They had just celebrated their 53 ^rd wedding anniversary on July 6 ^th .

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Ken Ostertag, devoted children Kevin Ostertag, his wife Sally Ostertag, his daughter Kellie Clyde (Ostertag) and her husband Kevin Clyde. She had five Grandchildren: Aaron Ostertag, Brendan Ostertag, Cailyn Ostertag, Taylor Clyde, and Logan Clyde. Along with two Great Granddaughters Roxy Ostertag and Rheya Ostertag due in November. She is also survived by her brothers George Sacco, Eddie Sacco, sister Jackie West and sisters in law, Rosalie Erickson and Barbara Ostertag.

Friends and Family are invited to a Celebration of Life for Carol this Friday, July 23 ^rd . It will be held from 11-2pm at the Elks Lodge in Pittsburg, 200 Marina Blvd, Pittsburg, CA.
