Carolyn Ann (Krautheim) Mijares passed away August 8, 2024, comfortably & peacefully while surrounded by her family. She fought that fight of breast cancer, and her cancer returned after 8 years, and boy it took a toll on her, she gave it her all. She is now free, at peace with no more pain, or suffering. She was born & raised in Pittsburg. She graduated in 1966 from Pittsburg High. She retired from Kaiser 10 years ago as a sterile processor.

She loved to travel always taking her grandchildren on short but ended up being long trips, loved the ocean and even traveled the Caribbean.  She had to live with water right out her back door for the past 10 years. Recently moving to Vacaville to be close to her daughter. She loved her grandchildren with everything she had, she loved BBQ's with family, and us all being around her.  She also loved her music her favorites were Smokey Robinson and Rod Stewart. She actually has a ticket for next month to The Rolling Stones concert & planned to go alone.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband Leo Ed Mijares (she thought they were divorced lol but not) her mother Yvonne Davis, biological father Raymond Krautheim, her father Jack Davis, brother Steven Krautheim.

Carolyn is survived by her children Steve Mijares, Monica Mijares had many grandchildren, Stephanie Mijares, Nicole Mijares, lil Steve Mijares, Jazmine Popich, Anthony Hilliard, Michael Mijares, Brandon Hilliard, Heaven Mijares and Mia Mijares and twelve great children. Her sister's Theresa Craig, Linda Krautheim, Jackie Trotter., and multiple nieces & nephews.

She will be missed dearly by us all but so thankful for the time we have had to share with her and to be there to help her as she aged.  Til we meet again.
