Catherine Nuovo Aiello joined her beloved Neno on August 17, 2023 one month shy of her Centennial birthday. A life long resident of Pittsburg, Catherine was raised by her parents Russell and Patrina Nuovo. She was also a resident of both Monterey and Pittsburg throughout her childhood. During WWII, she worked at Woolworth's. She married her Husband Neno of  60 years, in 1946. A life long homemaker, she lovingly raised two children in the home that Neno built. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, attending family picnics, senior bus trips to Tahoe and Reno, was active in the Elks, and was on the committee for "The Westside Reunion".

Preceded in death by her husband Neno Peter Aiello, her daughter Patrice (1957), and her brother John Nuovo of Hemet.  She is survived by her daughter Rosine (Bill) Costa, son Anthony (Susan) Aiello of Texas, two grandchildren William Costa Jr. and Stephanie Costa, two great-grandchildren Daniel and Katelynn, and two great-great-grandchildren Brodie and Bayleigh. She is also survived by her loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023, from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy at 11:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd 3200 Harbor Street, Pittsburg, Ca 94565. Committal service following at Holy Cross Cemetery 2200 E. 18th Street, Antioch, Ca 94509.
