Catherine Ellen Fesinmeyer passed away on June 27, 2013 after a determined battle against cancer. Her strength and spirit were an inspiration for life to her family and friends. Catherine was born in San Francisco, Sept. 02, 1955, graduated from Westmoor High School in Daly City and attended Skyline College. She met and married her surviving husband, Michael, celebrating 38 years together. She is also survived by her loving children, Michael Fesinmeyer (Alexis) of Oakley, Sharon Meeks (Arthur) of Pittsburg, and Deanna Garcia of Pittsburg. Surviving grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, are Brianna, Jayden, Derek, Anthony, Zachary, and Niko. Catherine is also survived by her mother, Margaret Harrigan of Pittsburg, her sisters Pamela Vela (Mark) of Salida, Nancy Verette of El Dorado Hills, and brother Kenneth Verette of Pittsburg. She is preceded in death by her brother Robert and father Robert Stykowski.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on July 9, 2013 from 4 pm to 8pm. Funeral service July 10, 2013 at 10am both days at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Cancer Society in memory of Catherine.
