Charles Fred Adams Sr. died peacefully at home on July 4th in Anchorage Alaska at the age of 86. Charles was born on July 9, 1930 in Queens New York to George and Emma. He moved to  California where he graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1947 and San Mateo College in 1949. He became an electrician and was a member of IBEW local 302 and 1547. He married Lila Walker his high school sweetheart in 1949. After moving to Alaska in 1980 he began working on the Alaskan pipe line. He and Lila opened a family business Adams Enterprises out of Naknek Alaska which they operate and own to this day.
Charles is survived by his loving wife Lila, brother George, sons Chuck Adams (Frances), Douglas Adams (Sandy) and Kevin Adams (Verna). Beloved grandchildren Charles Adams III, Vincent Adams (Juliette), Jason Adams (Cheryl), Dominic Adams, Marina Adams, Kimberly Shipe, Erin Miller (David), Sharon Johnson (Kevin) and Jesse Enebrad. Great grandchildren Kelsey and Amelia Adams, Violet Adams, Avery Shipe, Bodhi and Grayson Miller. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Emma Adams and daughter Linda Adams.
Private memorial will be held at a later date. The family asks donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for children in lieu of flowers.
