Christopher Colin Webb

Christopher Colin Webb was born to Shirley Robison and Clark Webb. Born prematurely, Chris faced health challenges throughout his life, but he never allowed those challenges to define him. He approached life with determination, resilience, and a quiet strength that those closest to him deeply admired.

As a young man, Chris played five years of West Pittsburg Youth Football. Although making weight could sometimes be difficult, those moments revealed his true grit. He was proud of his time in the program and remained a proud West Pitt Youth Football alumni.

Chris was a devoted Bay Area sports fan, a serious movie enthusiast, and a familiar face throughout the West Pittsburg community. For decades, he took daily walks along the same route with such consistency that friends and neighbors joked they could set their watches by him. He also loved going to the movies and, for much of his life, made it a weekly tradition.

For many years, Chris lived with his mother, Shirley, who lovingly cared for and watched over him. As she grew older, their roles began to change. Chris stepped up and began looking after his mother, offering his help and companionship when she needed it most. His family was incredibly proud of the way he cared for her.

Chris was also proud to have earned his driver’s license. An accomplishment that reflected his independence and perseverance.

A few years ago, Chris moved to Oakland, California, where he built new friendships and reconnected with old friends. He was fortunate to have caring people in his life.

Chris was deeply loved by his brothers, Dwayne Webb and Jeff Minnick Sr.; his many nieces and nephews; his sisters-in-law; and a wide circle of extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Robison; his father, Clark Webb; and his brother, David.

Chris will be remembered for his strength, his familiar walks, his love of sports and movies, and the meaningful place he held in the lives of those who knew him. His life may have ended too soon, but the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on.
