Claire Arlene McIvor peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Claire was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Claire was a resident of Concord for 50+ years. Claire was a mother of three, grandmother of nine and great grandmother of 17 passing at the age of 82. Born July 3, 1938 in Gary, Indiana to Clarence and Corrine Semingsen. Claire was a master seamstress and quilter with a passion for applique and embroidery. Claire was a longtime member of Clayton Farmhouse and Contra Costa Quilting Guild. Claire loved to spend time with her friends downtown enjoying concerts. Claire always had a joke and laugh to share. Claire had a beautiful smile and soul. She will be  greatly missed. Claire is preceded in death by her father, mother, and grandson.
