Collette Jarrel Hamilton was born on April 24 1970 in Pittsburg Ca to Dorothy Goodlow Bernard and the late Allen Haygood. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age & was baptized at First Baptist Church in Pittsburg Ca .she received her education through the Pittsburg Unified School District.

In 1988 Collette was blessed with her first child Kendra.Later met & married Sean Hamilton in this union two daugters were born Nefertari & Amanirenas.Collette worked as a bus driver for many years.She loved spending time with her family and friends.She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, cooking & fishing. Collette was known for her many acts of kindness and devotion to help others.Her doors were always open to family & friends no matter the circumstances.Collette was the glue in many people lives, even after being diagnosesd with stage four cance she still managed to keep it together fot all of us

On January 17 2025, Collette departed this life but will always remain in our hearts. She is preceded in death by her father Allen Haygood, grand parents Allen & Florida Bell Goodlow, Oscar & Cali James Haygood, 4 sisters, 3 brothers & godbrother.

Collette leaves to cherish her memory her mother Dorothy Goodlow Bernard, god mother Alice Johnson, her fiance Kenneth Cater, Three Daughter; Kendra, Nefertari, & Amanirenas  six grandchildren; Nasir, Sariyah, Journee, Ace, Syaire,& Amari Ryder Bonus children Jaylen, Zari, & Keliah brothers; Keith, Terry, Oscar, Randy,& Yancy sisters; Edith, Carlyn, & Jocelyn God Brothers; Onterio(Money) Windell(Keyon), Michael(Tron) God sister; Lover & Sparkle and many extended family members & friends.
