Consuelo "Connie" peacefully passed away on April 6, 2013 at the age of 79. She was born in Jerome, Arizona to Margarito and Refugia Quesada. She came to Pittsburg in 1950 and graduated from High School in 1954 and later received her AA degree in Liberal Arts from Los Medanos College. She worked for the Pittsburg Unified School District for 27 years. She was a member of the Guadalupana Society and a Cursillista.
Connie is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Victor, daughters: Sylvia Abundis (Marcellino), Sonia Dolojan (D'Leon) and son Victor Jr., (Leann). Grandchildren: Victor III, Steven, Micaela, Olivia, Keiana and Dailon. Her brothers: Bensie, Richard, and Manuel, sisters: Julia, Aurelia, Margaret and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jesus Quesada. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 10:00am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
