Connie was born in Needles, Ca, one of fourteen children, six of whom lived to adulthood. Her parents were Francisco and Soledad (Arroyo) Verduzco both born in Mexico. Connie worked at Modern Drug as manager of the Soda Shop. It was there, on April 11, 1943 she met a soldier from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, William R. Boschke, stationed at Camp Stoneman. They knew each other for one week before he shipped out to the Pacific. They corresponded for one year before getting married on June 11, 1944. After Bill was discharged they moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where they lived for three years before deciding to return to Pittsburg. Connie was a homemaker the rest of her life. She had many dear friends and relatives who will mourn her passing.
Connie leaves her loving children Paulette Waldron, Cynthia Cardinale and her husband Pete, William R. Boschke II, and his wife Louise. Adoring grandchildren Steven Waldron (Darcy) , Michael Waldron (Daniela), Jeffrey Cardinale (Clemencia), Kourtney Muniz (Mario), Kylie Nersesian (Craig), William Robert Boschke III. Beloved great grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa and Isabella Waldron, Antonia, Francisco and Sofia Cardinale, Pete, Natalia and Giada Muniz, William Robert IV and Kota Boschke, Giuliana and Robert Nersesian, Elias, Bennett and Kieran Carr. Connie was preceded in death by her husband William Boschke, parents, Francisco and Soledad (Arroyo) Verduzco, brothers Leo and Frank Verduzco, sisters Marina Medina, Margaret Shaffer, Aurora Ashford and son-in-law Mike Waldron.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 5:00pm with a vigil 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
