On Friday, May 10th, 2024, Dale Shunn Cave Jr. departed this life and transitioned to be in the arms of the Lord at the age of 41.

Dale Shunn Cave Jr. was born on Monday, March 28th, 1983. in Oakland Ca to Deanne Cave and Dale Cave Sr. Dale Shunn graduated from San Lorenzo High School in San Lorenzo, Ca in 2001. Dale Shunn married his childhood sweetheart Christine and from this union was born Dale Shunn Cave III and Darius Ontario Cave. He enjoyed professional sports, his favorite teams are The Atlanta Falcons, A's, and The Lakers. Dale himself played softball and basketball for local teams and was an advent competitive bowler. Dale Shunn was a fun-loving and lite-spirited person. Since he was an only child, if you were his friend he considered you family. He loved to be surrounded by people with laughter and cheer. He especially loved spending time with his loving wife and their 2 boys.

Dale Shunn was preceded in death by his mother Deanne Cave, his father Dale Cave Sr., his uncle Linfield Buckner, grandmother Aristine Hutchinson, grandfather Norman Cave, great grandparents Benny and Suzie Hutchinson and cousin Earl Buckner. Dale leaves to mourn his passing his wife Christine Cave, sons Dale Shunn and Darius Cave, stepmother Lenora Evette Whitehead, 6 step siblings, aunt Gail Roy, cousin Linease Buckner, in-laws DeAnna and John Brown and a host of other relatives and friends. He will forever be missed.
