Daniel Quesada, 71 passed away Thurs. June 21st at the Hayward Kaiser Permanente Hospital. Daniel was a popular and loved husband/father/friend who brought joy into all those around him. Daniel graduated from Pittsburg High School and attended Diablo Valley College earning an AA in Business Administration. He worked for both US Steel in Pittsburg and Pacific Bell in many locations around the Bay Area. He also served time with the California National Guard during the mid-1960s. Daniel is survived by his wife of 44 years Virginia H Quesada and by his two children: Daughter Gabriela Gunter and her husband Zachary Gunter of Antioch; Daniel Quesada Jr and his wife Christina of Rancho Cordova, CA; and three grandchildren: Adrian, Isabella, & Gabriel. To celebrate Daniel's life, visitation will be held on June 27, at 4pm with a vigil at 7pm at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy June 28, at 10am at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal follows at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
