David "Goose" Alan Gusimat Sr. passed away suddenly Tuesday at 5:30pm in Merced, CA. What he will be remembered for most is his smile and his infectious laughter.
Goose was born in Walnut Creek to Gavino and Lillian Gusimat. He graduated from Live Oak High School in Antioch in 1987 and worked as a carpet fitter for many years. He lived most his life in Pittsburg and Antioch and moved to Delhi to be closer to his son in 2014. He was an avid fisherman who never turned down an invitation to go fishing and was a Raider's fan to the end.

Goose is survived by his son, David Alan Gusimat Jr. of Delhi; his grandson, David Alexander Gusimat of Delhi; his brothers, Gavino Gusimat of Pittsburg and Jerrett Everett of Los Angeles; and his sister, Jamie Everett of Valley Springs. He forever will be missed by those who loved him and knew him.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at 11:00am with a chapel blessing at 12:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. A gathering will follow at 2:00pm at the King's Chapel Antioch, 320 Worrell Road.
