David James Lawry Jr. passed away at home on January 19th, 2018. A lifelong Pittsburg resident, he was 62. Dave was a 1974 Pittsburg High School graduate who went on to follow in his father's footsteps and become a member of IBEW Local 302 as an electrician. He spent most of his career as a Senior General Foreman with Rosendin Electric, developing Bishop Ranch in San Ramon.

Through the years Dave enjoyed bowling, motorcycles, golfing, coaching his son's baseball teams, watching old movies, cooking shows, and spending time with family. He was known by all for his sense of humor.

David is survived by his wife Sue Lawry, children Jessica Lawry (Chris), Nick Lawry (Dakota), Chris Lawry (Monique), Jason Adams (Cheryl), and Kim Shipe. His grandchildren Braden, Gabriel, Alanna, Nathaniel, Avery, Kelsey, and Amelia. He is also survived by his mother Marie (Jackie) Cloud and sister Robin Glazis, brother-in-law Mark Nesbit, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Preceded in death by his fathers David Lawry Sr. and Howard Cloud, and his sister Penney Nesbit.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Sunday January 28th from 1-4pm at the Pittsburg Elks Lodge, 200 Marina Blvd., in Pittsburg.
