David George Riddle Sr. was born on November 26 , 1939, in Abingdon , Virginia to Paul and Sally Cordelia Riddle . He was in the US Navy for 26 years until his retirement . In addition to his military career , he had over 40year career with Rainbow Vacuum of sales , service a nd repair . He married Lourdes Cipriano in and together raised a daughter , Jeraldine ( Manuel ) , and two sons , Michael ( Jeannette) and David Jr ., ( Rachel ) . T h ey had 12 grandchildren , Elaine ( Cheyne ) , Tavis II (Peaches ) , Alexa ( John) , Isabel , Mic h ael ( Michaella ) , Romeo , Daniel ( Rachelle ) , Angelita , Joey ( Jasmine ), Jazzlynn ( Paul ) , Vanessa and Maxwell . T h ey were also blessed with 10 great - grandchildren , Bowie , Kynan , Delia , Georgie , Billie , An astasia , Alexavier , Peyton , Everett and Araleigha . He will be greatly missed by all who knew him . He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife .
