Obituary

"She was born on February 4, 1943, in Fort Adams, to Douglas and Flozel ( Lee ) Gorham. She was a graduate of Woodville High School. She left home at the age 18 on the Greyhound bus to San Francisco, CA. to help her uncle then, later on she met Samuel Jones and had two sons and the rest is history. A couple of years later she met Pat Bynum, she started a Bible study with her in which changed her life for the better. She dedicated her life in water Baptism as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and a foot step follower of Jesus Christ. She worked over 30 years as Senior Loan Analyst for the Dept. Of Education and retired back in 2009, her goal was to become a Regular Pioneer ( Full-Time Minister) and attend Pioneer School she accomplish both and later, Jehovah God reward her to become a Delegate at the 2013 International Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses in New Zealand in which she attended and got a chance to visit Bethel ( House of God ) in New York two times. she had a wonderful knack to solving problems and if disrespected she had a way of letting you know it. Deloris truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; conversation with friends and family, listening to JW Broadcasting and researching information on JW.ORG, spending time with her two granddaughters, grandson, and seeing two greatgrandsons. She is survived by her two sons; Terry and Anthony, her siblings; Henry, Dora, Ann, and Tyrone; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
