On Monday, September 30, 2019 Dennis Shipley passed away after a difficult battle with Lung Cancer at the age of 66. He was raised in Pittsburg and attended Pittsburg schools. Dennis was a very hard working man. He worked in the construction field for 40 years as well as the Shell refinery in Martinez where he later retired.

Dennis enjoyed the water, especially the lakes and being out on the boat. He loved his Golden State Warriors, SF Giants and 49ers. He enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren's sporting and school events.  He was especially proud to be "Papa" to his three grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his daughters Renee and Alicia. Three grandchildren; Isaac, Angelo & Gianna. He is also survived by his sisters Cathy, Linda and brother Bill. He was preceded in death by his parents Eric Dean & Edith Shipley.

Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 5pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
