First Breath : December 30, 1933 in Nausori, Fiji Islands.
Life: In Fiji, raised her children while working in the farms and the markets, making sure her family lived comfortably. She migrated to USA in 1979, where she lived in Seaside, California with her eldest son, Sispal Gopi. After moving to Pittsburg, California, she continued to spend most of her time with her children and grandchildren. Deo Mati was a very strong & independent woman who will always be an inspiration to everyone. She was a very loving and loyal mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend to everyone she came in contact with.
Last Breath : August 24, 2018 at 12:51PM at Sutter Delta Hospital in Antioch, CA surrounded by her children and grandchildren

Final prayer services will follow at Gurdwara Sri Guru Ravidass Sabha 2150 Crestview Dr., Pittsburg, Ca 94565.
