Dolores "Lola" Aiello's Obituary
Lola Aiello passed away peacefully on September 17, 2018 at the age of 88. Lola was born in Madera, Ca to Godofredo and Agapita Verduzco. The family moved to Pittsburg in 1936 where her and her 12 brothers and sisters attended Pittsburg schools and became well known to the Pittsburg community.
She worked many years for the Pittsburg School District, first in the cafeteria, later in office admin positions. She will be remembered for her beauty, cooking, a good bowler when younger, as well as for being the youngest mom in town.
Lola is survived by her two sons Vince (Cynthia) Aiello, Gary (Janette) Aiello, Grandchildren Shellie (Chris) Klimemko, Mark Aiello, Jessica Aiello, Michael Aiello, and greatgrandchildren Allie (Aiello) Nichols, Ashley (Aiello) Flanders, Patrick James Aiello, and Nickolas Anthony Klimenko. Her siblings: Louis Verduzco, Isabel Neugebauer, Carmen Collins, and Antionette Tracy. She was preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, Buddie Aiello in 1987.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy at 12:00pm at St. Ignatius of Antioch. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
