Donald "Buz" Gott passed away peacefully on March 25, 2015 in Antioch. Born in Martinez to Marion and Margery Gott. Buz attended Pacifica High School in Bay Point. Buz was a US Army veteran and he was employed at USS POSCO for 30 years. He was the husband of Andrea Cardinale Gott. They shared 32 years of marriage together.
Buz enjoyed, fishing, boating, collecting sports memorabilia, watching sports and hanging out with his grandchildren. Buz loved living on the Delta and leaves behind many friends in Bethel Island. He will be best remembered for his generosity, loving heart, his love for the SF Giants and SF 49ers, and most of all; his sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving wife Andrea Gott, his children Timothy Gott and Danon
Gott (Hennig), grandchildren Emma, Sophia, Ryan and Josephine.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, April 12th at 4pm. Guests are invited to celebrate at the Pittsburg Yacht Club, 3 Marina Blvd, Pittsburg. Please join us and "raise a glass" to a wonderful man. Cheers Papa Buz.
