Donald Odell Ison, loving brother, husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024, at age 75. He was born November 18, 1948, to Charles and Laura Ison and was the oldest of three boys. Don served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged May 1, 1974. He married the love of his life, Linda Ann Scheidt on June 6, 1977, in Reno, Nevada. Don and Linda were blessed with two children and chose to raise their family in Pittsburg, California.

Don was a welder by trade, but his family came first as he was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed camping, fishing and the occasional motorcycle ride. He loved playing cards games with his grandchildren, watching football and spending time with his family.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Laura and wife, Linda. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his brothers, Bob and Steve; children, Sara and Chris; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Don will be forever loved and greatly missed by the family he meant the world to.
