Our beloved Edward passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born in Winslow, AZ, he was a 64 year resident of Pittsburg and a 1950 graduate of Liberty High, where he was a standout in basketball. Ed was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and a carpenter of 34 years. He was a lifetime member of the Carpenters Union (50 yrs), & parishioner of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Married to his high school sweetheart Dolores for 64 years, Ed was a loving father to Paul (Michelle), David (Veronica), Cynthia Johnston (Jim) & Eddie (Danee). Papa to grandchildren Alexandra, Stefanie, Jazmine, Jennifer, Morgan, Gabriel, Cameron, Joe, Celina & Anthony. Brother to Manuel & DeAne. Preceded in death by parents Edward & Guadalupe, siblings Joe, Filomeno, Cruz, Mary & Lupe. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family and sharing life's precious moments with his children and grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 4:00pm with a vigil service at 6:30pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery.
