Emily J. Silva, 87, passed away on February 8, 2022. She was longtime resident of Antioch. She was born on June 23, 1934 in Hanford, California to Frank G. Mello and Mamie R. Vigario. Emily is survived by her sister Frances Loewen, brother Frank Mello, step sister Cathy Diaz, step son Joseph Silva and step daughter Shari Swartz. Grandchildren: Cody Swartz, Jay Swartz, and Maria Silva. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is survived many friends from the YLI and Pittsburg Elks Lodge. Emily is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Silva

Memorial funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 10:30am at St. Ignatius of Antioch 3351 Contra Loma Blvd, Antioch, CA 94509. Inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
