Our beloved Erlinda "Linda" Alejandro lived a long and fulfilling life. Linda was born and raised in Manila, Philippines on September 5, 1945 to Tomas and Elpidia Nasol.  In her early twenties, she worked in the US Navy at Subic Bay with her father, with whom she was very close.  She was definitely a "Daddy's Girl".  The eldest of seven siblings, it was natural for her to feel happy and fulfilled when helping provide for her family.  This desire to provide support and love was a long-standing theme in Linda's life.

While working in Subic, she met Alex Alejandro, a US Navy officer. They fell in love, married after only a few weeks, on September 23, 1972 in Olongapo City, Zambales, Philippines, and began growing their family.

As a military couple and family, they moved to various cities in the US, including Stockton and Alameda.  Other moves of significance included a return to the Philippines and an assignment in Guam. They returned to the US in 1988 and settled in Pittsburg, California.

She was a loving mother to Frederick and Lynnette and was known for her generosity and kindness to family and friends.  Up until the end of her life, she was constantly thinking of her family and neighbors and spent a lot of time preparing and sending balikbayan boxes (care packages) year-round to her family, friends and loved ones in the Philippines.  She spent every ounce of strength that she had to make sure that her loved ones were comfortable and had everything they needed. For every blessing that she received from God in life, she wanted to be able to share it with others.

A devoted member of the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo), she longed to be at the chapel even up to her final days.  She always reminded her loved ones the value of worshiping and being thankful to God in all circumstances.

On October 19, 2021, she passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by family and friends. She battled various illnesses for many years.  She was strong-willed and a true fighter through each battle.  Her family is at peace knowing that her race is complete and she is no longer in pain or suffering this life; She is resting until the day when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ returns.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Tomas and Elpidia, and siblings, Obet and Delia Nasol.

Linda is survived by her husband, Alex, two children, Eric and Lynnette, four siblings -  Lourdes Habac, Clarita Nasol, Dolores Arthurs and Amelia Broas - her dog, who was like her 3 ^rd child, Mimi, her extended family, and an abundance of friends.

In-person viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 and Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 2:00pm – 6:00pm, and on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 9:30am – 11:00am all days at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial following at 11:30am at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Concord.
