Ernesto "Ernie" Grijalva, a lifelog resident of Pittsburg, CA passed away on January 15, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 66 years old.

Ernie loved his hometown and spent his life building lasting friendships within the community. He was known for his warmth, loyalty, and generous spirit. Ernie took great pride in his work as a skilled tile setter, a craft he enjoyed for many years. Music was his other great passion. A talented singer & percussionist, he played with many groups throughout the Bay Area, sharing his love of music wherever he went.

He was loved by many, especially his devoted partner, Antoinette, her children and his much beloved dog, Jaco. He also leaves behind three children and four grandchildren.

Ernie will be remembered for his craftmanship, his music and the love he shared so freely.
