Ethel Mary (Cacciaroni) Dinelli peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015. She was 95 years old Ethel was born on June 29, 1919 to Dovillo and Antonina Cacciaroni in Pittsburg, CA. She attended local schools and later worked at the canneries until meeting her husband, Tony Dinelli. They married on October 24, 1954 at St. Peter Martyr Catholic Church. They started their family and then moved to Antioch, CA.
Ethel loved cooking for family and friends on Sunday and holidays, playing cards, watching ice skating, game shows and her "staaries". She was very proud of her Italian heritage and attending Italian festivals. Prior to her illness, Ethel had a sharp mind for remembering everyone's birthday.
Ethel is survived by her sister Mary Pipitone (Riverside), her loving children Janet Castillo, Raymond (Darla) and Ernest Dinelli; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 beginning at 9:00am with a chapel blessing at 11:00am at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
