Felix Urquijo Velasco passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013 at John Muir Medical Center in Concord. Although he never had a family of own, he took care of all those who he came in contact with. He was described by many as a "beautiful" person.
Felix lost his father at a very young age that is when he quit school to assist his mother, Inez, in taking care of their family financially. He joined the Air Force for several years, proceeded to get his GED and a Barber's license. He worked at the US Steel Mill for over thirty years and was a barber.
Felix is survived by his loving sister, Anita, niece Mary and nephew Thomas. He will be missed by all who lives he touched with his unique sense of humor and his extreme generosity.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 2:00pm with a memorial services at 3:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
